Yuen Tai-Yung is the 2017 Hong Kong Film Award-winning Chinese painter known for his creation of over 200 iconic posters for films featuring some of the biggest stars on screen - Bruce Lee, The Hui Brothers (aka Mr Boo!), Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Stephen Chow from the 1970s to 1990s. This documentary chronicles director Hui See-Wai's search for the extraordinary artist and their subsequent encounters within 12 months. It provides an intimate and nostalgic look into the world of Yuen who defined the look of movie posters during what is widely regarded as the Golden Era of Hong Kong cinema. Since its release in 2016, "The Posterist" has gone on to complete two sold-out runs at Hong Kong's art-house cinemas and played to audiences at festivals in Singapore, Toronto and Beijing. The film won "Premi Del Jurat" at Festival Nits cinema oriental Vic Barcelona.

HBO is going back in time for an upcoming, currently untitled drama series following the professional and personal lives of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers, one of sports’ most revered and dominant dynasties. The series is based on Jeff Pearlman’s book Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley, and the Los Angeles Lakers of the 1980s. Adam McKay (Succession, Q: Into the Storm) is executive-producing, as well as directing the pilot episode. Adrien Brody (as Pat Riley), John C. Reilly (as Jerry Buss), Jason Segel (as Paul Westhead), Sally Field (as Jessie Buss), Jason Clarke (as Jerry West), Quincy Isaiah (as Magic Johnson), and Solomon Hughes (as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) are among the cast.
