The Scarecrow

Kang Tae Joo is a hot-blooded detective in the violent crime section, thinking only about solving cases. One day, he returns to his hometown, Kangseong County, reluctantly after losing his position in Seoul. He encounters an ex-convict whom he had busted before in the police office, and finds out that he is suspected of being a culprit in a murder case. Everyone says he is the real culprit, but he feels suspicious about his case. While delving into this murder case deeply, he meets his classmate, Cha Si Yeong, who has been a nightmare in his memory for a long time. This time, they meet as a cop and a prosecutor. Although their relationship is tense, they cooperate because their target is the same. The fact that they are looking for a culprit in the same case is their connection.
